Little Woods Preschool

Our curriculum is inquiry-based, emergent learning that follows child interest and curiosity. That means we follow the child's lead with intentional teacher guidance.  We utilize outdoor learning, art, movement and play that focus on students' communities and lives.

At Little Woods Preschool we build learning opportunities through child centered, developmentally appropriate activities. We engage children through play, outdoor learning,  art, cooking and more.  Our teachers are trained to engage students to investigate, explore and create. Lessons are fun and engaging, building on child interests and skills. 

Students in our Pre-K class get an extra boost of Kindergarten readiness.  We practice self advocacy and care, life skills, numbers, letters  and more to prepare our students for Kindergarten!
